Brittany Holmes, an east coast native, is excited to have settled in Tennessee. Originally receiving a degree in Fashion Design and Retailing from FSU, and working in the design industry in NYC, she later switched careers and began attending the Aveda Institute in Soho in 2010. After graduating from Aveda, she refined her skills at the Brooklyn based Ludlow Blunt (formerly Tommy Guns.) She gained skill through the teachings of Vidal Sassoon and all teaching it has by her now coworker Lisa Stephenson, and also Rami Freiji. This unique set of skills from Vidal Sassoon has allowed her to test the limits of cutting, styling, and coloring. Her barbering mentor, Van Capizzano is the reason for her passion for barbering and even more so what brings you her straight razor shaves. Brittany has been featured in Vogue for her straight razor skills and has trained aspiring barbers from around the world wanting to learn how to straight razor shave. Efficient in scissors, as well as clippers, she is more than excited to bring this craft to Tennessee. This former resident of Brooklyn, is a huge fan of graphic novels, hip hop, and horror movies. She can be seen consistently taking courses around the country to continually learn the newest ways to achieve your hair goals.
